While attempting to install a new POS (piece of software), Windows Store was crashing and closing immediately after launch. The solution that worked for me was easier than the [failed] solutions stated on other sites. Here’s what I did.
All that I needed to do was to reset the app and it all worked fine after that.
Go to Settings
Then go to Apps
Don’t torture yourself by scrolling through that list. Filter it by typing “store”.
Click on Microsoft Store to expand the box and then you’ll see “Advanced Options”.
Now click on “Reset”.
If you’re anything like me, this should fix your problem.
