There is a great way to mark sections of your code with a highly visible indicator that requires less effort to identify. It’s preference, for sure. I would imagine that certain people might find this a gaudy way to comment their code, while others would appreciate the practicality of it – because, boy, is it ever practical.
Using this tool: http://patorjk.com/software/taag/, you can create huge headings for your code that are highly visible in the MiniMap scroll pane on. Dealing with hundreds of lines of code can be greatly simplified using this.

With this technique, you won’t keep hunting through code trying to remember where the accordion widget started or a certain table begins. Just mark it and then you can jump to it with ease.
